The Automations page
Choose Automations in the sidebar. The page has two tabs: Automations and Reminders.
The Automations tab shows Waiting for you, automations proposed by an agent that need you to turn them on, and Your automations. Each tile shows the name, when it runs, its agents and its state.
Scheduled runs start only while Atlas Mind is running. Keep the app open if an automation needs to run on time.
Create an automation
You can ask an agent in a chat to do something on a schedule (see the Automations panel), or create one here:
- Choose New automation.
- Under Who runs it, choose One agent or Several agents. With several, the first you pick leads; to change it, choose Make lead on another.
- Give it a Name, such as "Morning brief", and say What each run asks.
- Under When, choose how it Repeats: Once, Every day, Every weekday, Every week, Every month or Every year, then the time and day. Times are in your Mac's time zone, shown below.
- Under Without asking, each run may, choose how far it can go on its own.
- Choose Create.
Prepares the work and changes nothing.
Asks you before it changes anything.
Acts within what its chat may use.
If no agent can run on its own yet, the dialog says so and offers Open Agents; connect an agent first. See Agents and teams.
Look after an automation
Choose an automation to open it. You will find:
- Overview: what each run does, who runs it, which project it is in, what it may do without asking, its time zone and who proposed it.
- Runs: each run, and whether it Ran, Failed, was Skipped or is Running.
- History: what has happened to the automation over time.
Along the top, depending on its state: Pause or Resume, Run now, Open its chat, Change and Delete. Change opens Change this automation; finish with Save changes. Deleting asks first; the automation's chat stays, with everything said in it.
An automation proposed by an agent asks Turn this on?. Choose what it may do, then Turn on, or Not now. You can also turn proposals on from the strip "Automations waiting in this chat" above a chat's message bar.
Reminders
A reminder is a note for later, kept in a project. It is delivered at your next visit to the project once its moment has come, not as an alarm while you are away.
- Write it
Choose the project and the message.
- Choose when
A date and time, or the next time you enter the project.
- It waits
Up next on Home shows dated reminders.
- It arrives
When you next work in the project.
Create a reminder
- Open the Reminders tab and choose New reminder, or pick a day on the calendar and choose New reminder on this day.
- Choose the project and write the Message.
- Under When, choose On or after a date and set the date and time, or Next project entry.
- Under Repeat, choose Once, Each eligible interaction, or After an interval with a minimum number of minutes.
- Choose Create reminder.
See and cancel reminders
Pick a project, then switch between Active and History. Choose Cancel on a reminder you no longer need, and Refresh to read them again. The calendar shows waiting reminders that have a date, on their days; move with Previous month, Today and Next month. Weeks start on the day your Mac's region uses.
New reminders cannot start on a day that has passed, or late in the day today; choose a later day.
