Atlas Mind policy
1. Purpose and application
These terms govern access to the Atlas Mind service supplied by Forlais Group Ltd, trading as Atlas Mind (Company No. 16835488). They are intended for both individual and business accounts, with business-specific terms taking precedence where expressly agreed.
This document must be read with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and any more specific accepted agreement.
2. Substantive provisions
2.1. Contract and precedence
A contract is formed when the customer accepts these terms and Forlais makes an account or paid service available. The account holder must be at least the minimum eligible age specified at registration and have capacity to contract. If acting for an organisation, the accepting person warrants authority to bind it. A signed enterprise order and master services agreement prevail over conflicting general terms to the extent expressly stated.
2.2. Service and changes
Atlas Mind may provide connected knowledge, retrieval, project memory, graph representations and AI-assisted workflows, subject to the features included in the selected plan. Product descriptions, limitations and material dependencies must be accurate at the point of purchase. Material reductions to paid functionality require advance notice and an appropriate remedy where required by law or contract.
2.3. Customer content and authority
The customer retains its rights in information it lawfully provides or connects. The customer grants Forlais a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, index, transform, retrieve and display that content solely to deliver the selected service and perform lawful operational obligations. The customer must hold necessary rights and permissions for connected files, communications, personal data and third-party material.
2.4. Connected accounts and sharing
The customer authorises only the external accounts and scopes it deliberately connects. Granting access to a project may expose authorised source material and derived memories, summaries and graph relationships to invitees according to effective permissions. The customer remains responsible for the persons it invites, but Forlais remains responsible for enforcing the permissions represented by the product.
2.5. AI-generated information and actions
AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate or inferred and must be independently evaluated before reliance in consequential matters. Atlas Mind must not execute an externally consequential action without the permission and approval controls described in the relevant product interface and agreed service terms. No representation is made that outputs are professional legal, medical or financial advice.
2.6. Fees, subscription and cancellation
Paid plans, taxes, payment intervals, renewal conditions, usage allowances and any overage charges are those expressly disclosed and accepted at checkout or in an order. Changes to recurring fees require appropriate advance notice. Users must receive a practical method to stop future renewal, subject to any agreed minimum commitment and applicable consumer cancellation rights. Refund treatment is governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy and mandatory law.
2.7. Acceptable use and suspension
Customers must not obtain unauthorised data access, introduce harmful code, misuse connected provider APIs or use the service unlawfully. Forlais may proportionately restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect security, legal compliance or other users, with notice and a route to challenge where appropriate. Routine enforcement should preserve opportunities for lawful customer export where practicable.
2.8. Warranties, liability and consumer rights
The service is supplied with reasonable care and skill and with any non-excludable statutory rights preserved. Any business-only warranty exclusions or liability limits must be fair, conspicuous, commercially approved and stated in the applicable order or final terms. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2.9. Termination, law and contact
Customers may close accounts through the documented cancellation or deletion process. Termination does not extinguish accrued liabilities or rights required to survive, including confidentiality, payment, lawful retention and intellectual property. English law governs subject to non-excludable consumer protection rules in the customer’s place of residence. Notices must use verified addresses and contact methods published by Forlais.
3. Customer rights, administration and changes
Nothing in this document is intended to restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer and data protection rights. Where this document conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory rule prevails. Complaints, concerns and requests should be directed through the verified contact details published by Forlais.
Forlais may revise this policy to reflect changes in the service, third-party requirements or applicable law. Any revision that materially affects customer rights will be communicated in the manner and timeframe required by the applicable agreement and law.
