The Agents page
Choose Agents under Your Atlas, or the agents icon in the title bar.
- Tabs: Running, Connected, Skills, Delegation, Activity.
- Working now: choose a run Atlas started to open its terminal.
- Enrol an agent: sign in to the AI apps you use.
- Templates: teams you can reuse.
Connect an AI app
Choose Sign in beside the app.
- Your browser
Sign in to the app there, or confirm the code shown.
- Connected
Back in Atlas, the dialog says Connected.
- Who uses it
Give it to members of your teams.
- Under Enrol an agent, choose Sign in beside the app. No account with that app yet? Choose Sign up to open the maker's page.
- If the app is not on your Mac, Atlas sets it up first and shows its progress.
- Your browser opens. Sign in, or confirm the code Atlas shows you.
- When the dialog says Connected, use Who uses it to give the app to members of your teams, then choose Done.
If it reads "Signed in, but Atlas isn't in it yet", open Settings, AI apps, and finish installing Atlas in that app. See AI apps. Each app's account is its maker's, separate from your Atlas Mind account.
To use a model directly with your own API key instead, see Models and keys.
Start, watch and stop an agent
- Connected lists your AI apps, models and integrations, each with a dot that shows whether it is ready. With a project open, choose ▶ to start an agent in it.
- Running shows Working now and Idle. Choose a run Atlas started to open its terminal; for an agent started elsewhere, Atlas shows where it runs.
- In the terminal: Interrupt stops the current turn, Stop stops the agent, Close leaves it running, and Start again restarts it while its project is open.
- An ended run can be cleared from the list with its × button.
Skills
Skills shows what each of your agents knows how to do. Search with Find a skill, here and on skills.sh; results from skills.sh are ranked by installs and open on skills.sh. Choose Scan to look for new skills on your Mac.
Delegation
With a project open, Delegation decides how work is handed to agents in it.
Every request waits for you.
Only the kinds of work this project marks routine go ahead; the rest wait for you.
Requests go ahead within the hourly limit and how deep hand-offs may go. High-risk work always waits for you.
- Use − and + to set how many agents may work at once. More shows the rest of the limits. Each change is kept straight away; for the daily spend limit, type the amount and choose Save.
- Waiting for you: Approve or Deny each request.
- Who can take work lists the agents that may. To prefer an agent or never use it here, choose More and tick Prefer or Never use.
- Assists: handed-out work. Choose Details to see what done meant and what came back.
Activity shows what happened recently in the open project.
Team templates
A template is a team you can reuse: who is on it, which model each uses, how hard each works and what each is told.
- Under Templates, choose New.
- Name the template and, if you like, Add a description.
- Under Agents, choose Add another teammate. Set each one's teammate, model, effort (Low, Medium or High) and instructions. Mark one as Lead.
- Choose Create. Later changes are kept with Save.
A template's menu has Open, Use for new projects, Duplicate and Delete. Projects made from a template keep their own copy, so deleting it does not change them.
Saving a template does not give it to a project. Choose a project's team on its Overview.
