Copyright & Infringement Complaints Policy

Atlas Mind policy

Last updatedDraft, not yet in force

1. Purpose and application

This policy establishes a channel to report material hosted or made available through Atlas Mind that may infringe rights.

This document must be read with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and any more specific accepted agreement.

2. Substantive provisions

2.1. Eligible notices

A complainant should identify the work, location or project, nature of rights, contact information, claimed ownership and a good-faith explanation. Request only evidence necessary to assess the notice.

2.2. Assessment and access

The company must distinguish privately stored customer content from content publicly distributed by the service. It must assess applicable UK law, hosting/intermediary obligations and evidence before removal or disclosure.

2.3. Response and counterstatement

Where appropriate, notify the affected customer, offer a proportionate counterstatement process and avoid disclosure of confidential customer files to unauthorised parties.

2.4. Repeat misuse and records

Escalate substantiated repeated infringement and preserve the decision trail, including original notice, action, appeal and restoration. No automatic irreversible deletion solely on an unverified allegation.

3. Customer rights, administration and changes

Nothing in this document is intended to restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable statutory consumer and data protection rights. Where this document conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory rule prevails. Complaints, concerns and requests should be directed through the verified contact details published by Forlais.

Forlais may revise this policy to reflect changes in the service, third-party requirements or applicable law. Any revision that materially affects customer rights will be communicated in the manner and timeframe required by the applicable agreement and law.
