Do I need the desktop app?
Yes. The desktop app is Atlas Mind, and your Mind lives with it on your own machine. The website is where your account, subscription and downloads live; it is not the product on its own. What your Mind keeps.
Where is my data?
On your machine, in your Mind. Forlais does not hold a Free, Personal or Pro user's Mind. The hosted side keeps only your account, your subscription, the phone pairing keys and, if you opt in, a backup that is encrypted before it leaves your Mac. Team is where Forlais hosts shared storage so a team can work together when the owner's machine is off. Privacy and control.
Which agents work with Atlas?
Any client on your machine that speaks MCP. You can add your own agent by name and command. Use several agents together.
What am I charged for model usage?
Nothing by Atlas. Model usage and rate limits are set and billed separately by your AI provider. Atlas never calls a model itself.
What happens if I cancel?
Your Mind stays yours. Read and export always stay open; growth stops at the limits of the plan you move to. Nothing is deleted to fit a lower tier.
